Compilation using DialogBlocks and VC++

In this configuration DialogBlocks works as interface between source code and the different compilers/linkers that can be used to compile/link wxWidgets-based programs. We use the VC++ compiler in this tutorial.

The program flow is depicted in Figure 2.1. For the internal operation in wxWidgets please note that properties of widgets are not changed directly, but via an 'Update EU Event'. See the wxWidgets-manual for details.
